Digital Signatures
Achieve compliance goal
Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while protecting your company from costly document falsification, fines, and brand erosion. With Adobe® LiveCycle® Digital Signatures ES2, you can protect the integrity of sensitive records in compliance with government mandates and your own long-term archiving objectives.
Streamline business operations
Simplify and reduce the cost to develop more secure business processes with digital signatures that validate automatically in free and ubiquitous Adobe Reader® software. With Digital Signatures ES2, you can engage more easily with stakeholders that previously relied on expensive and time-consuming paper-based documents and physical delivery, helping to increase employee productivity and customer satisfaction. Use Digital Signatures ES2 to sign on multiple pages from multiple authors based on your custom workflow requirements and to reduce costs related to faxing, shipping, or printing.
Improve business accountability
Establish the identity and intent of vendors and buyers, contracting parties, process approvers, and others to help ensure that transactions have not been altered and cannot be repudiated. Before a transaction is processed, Digital Signatures ES2 checks whether a document has been altered and if it was approved by the correct person, validating the authenticity and integrity of the content as well as the signer's digital identity.
Leverage existing investments in identity management
If your organization has deployed a PKI or smart card solution, you can leverage these technology investments in conjunction with Digital Signatures ES2. Using Digital Signatures ES2, you can encrypt system-generated documents for distribution and automatically decrypt submitted documents, helping to prevent unauthorized individuals from viewing sensitive document content. Digital Signatures ES2 also provides bulk digital signature capabilities for PDF documents using Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for high-performance cryptographic functions.
How it works
Users submit a PDF document for signature services.
Digital Signatures ES2 applies an electronic signature to the document and presents it back to the user or process.
For return-trip signatures, the server can provide validation results for signatures resident in the document to prove authenticity and integrity.
